An exhibition and symposium series curated by Cassandra Edlefsen Lasch and Annabelle von Girsewald

Inspired by both Georges Perec’s Espèces d‘espaces (Species of Space, 1974) and the Icelandic artist Hreinn Friðfinnsson’s House Project (1974–), the series models revisitation as a multi-layered reflection on locality and identity. After the exhibition “homecomings” and an international symposium and parallel events, the group exhibition “homecomings: PROJECTIVE SPACE” extends questions of projected futures and recursive architectures, mirrored within the rubrics of artistic production.
