LBF Contemporary is pleased to present „LBF @ The Lake II“, the second edition of our off-site summer exhibition series in Muskoka, Canada.

Situated two hours north of Toronto, Ontario, Muskoka is known for its sparkling lakes, granite shorelines and dense forests. The area has a rich history, long drawing artists like Tom Thomson, A.Y. Jackson, and J.E.H. MacDonald, who have immortalised its windswept pines and rocky shores.

This year’s exhibition centres on themes of nature and the sublime, inspired by the region’s rugged natural beauty and quiet intensity. The show brings together eleven contemporary painters, each responding to the environment’s powerful presence in their own way.
